Suspension of shipping to USA

As of the 14th of August 2025, we are no longer shipping curry pastes to the USA. We are sorry that we have had to do this as we have many loyal customers in the USA but the requirements that are now imposed upon us are next to impossible to fulfil for a small business. All food entering the USA is now subject to the Bioterrorism Act of 2002.

If you wish to see what we are up against then please click on the links below, and bear in mind that if a customer were to order six different curry pastes then we would have to complete six of these applications

We are hopeful that, by 2026, we will be able to ship our products in bulk to the United States, facilitating onward distribution within the country. This approach would also significantly reduce shipping costs. However, the process will require considerable time to establish, so unfortunately, we can only provide a very approximate timeline at present.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is worth noting that many small food suppliers have also ceased shipping to the US. Perhaps this presents an opportunity for an enterprising individual to set up a Thai fish sauce factory in Kansas!

Update 29/08/2025. As you may be aware the tax exemptions have now been stopped for all commercial shipments of any items to the USA. As things stand the minimum import duty to be paid is $80 regardless of the shipment value.
