Sometimes seen on Thai restaurant menus written in English as "Kaeng Kari". or แกงกะหรี่ in Thai. This curry paste is notable for its use of spices more generally associated with Indian curries. However, the spicing is lightly balanced allowing the typical flavours of a Thai curry to still predominate. A mild curry popular with children and adults alike.

Excellent pastes and recipes

I found this company by chance in the review section of a BBC Good Food recipe where people were recommending the pastes. I ordered a selection, they arrived quickly and well packed. I set about making a batch of chicken satay using the quantities in the recipe blog, I also bought the recommended coconut milk. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious, I have portion controlled enough for 10 people in portions of two for the freezer. I can’t recommend highly enough

I love curries and i am a decent cook yet i failed too many times with making thai curry pastes from scratch.
The yellow curry paste is my favourite paste as it is more delicate and it goes so well with fish. When we fancy a curry and we are already hungry, this is the quickest and most delicious curry that you can make!

Absolutely lovely

I may have been converted; normally Thai green curry is my favourite but this just blew my mind! Cooked it as per the instructions with the addition of bamboo shoots and the recommended sides of ajat and crispy onions plus coconut rice. Cannot fault it. A beautiful mixture of flavours with the spice and acidity of Nitsa's ajat recipe perfectly completmenting the sweeter coconutty curry. Will definitely be ordering again. For people about to cook this I would recommend adding the bamboo shoots; they don't take away any of the flavour from the curry but add a welcomed different texture to your mouthful.

Delicious red curry paste

This is definitely the best red Thai curry paste I've ever used, I made it with the duck breast using the recipe on the website and was blown away with how fresh the curry was. Also all the other tips on the website have truly revolutionised my Thai curry game, frozen kaffir lime leaves and finding the right coconut milk is a must!
