Southern Thai Green Curry Paste

Few Thai dishes have become more standardised in the West than Thai green curry yet in Thailand there are many regional variations to this dish. This is one of them. The heat comes from the tiny bird's eye chillies that are added to so many dishes in Southern Thailand. Yes, it's hot but the complex array of flavours still come through to tantalise the taste buds and it's wonderful with a cold beer! This is really a curry for the heat lovers, lesser mortals may prefer a medium spiced Thai green curry like the Bangkok Style Green Curry.  Or for those of you want the mildest curry experience possible we now have a Mild Thai Green Curry paste.

AMAZING curry pastes!

Cannot praise these curry pastes enough. The beef masaman curry was the best curry I have ever made in my life using this paste, and I'm not inexperienced in teh kitchen. I used beef shin and cooked in the oven and it was exceptional. I have also tried the green curries, both of which were excellent. Thanks again

Excellent paste, very authentic flavours and aromas and the Southern Thai paste packs a decent punch too. Spicy and makes a really good curry.

Best Thai Green Curry On The Market

There’s three different green curry varieties to choose from so don’t dive in and buy the Southern one unless you can take the heat, the other two might be starting points. We’ve worked our way up to it and absolutely love it but it’s about as hot as we can manage. Add aubergine, peppers, green beans (and in our case a touch of white pepper and sugar) and you could be in Thailand. Bliss

Southern Thai Green Curry

The fact I went back for more is testimony to how delicious this. I'm now sharing packs with my family. There is a great heat whistle retaining those authentic flavours. I pair mine with coconut kitchen coconut milk. The combination is sublime. Don't discontinue this one :)
