Really lovely authentic flavours. We holiday in Thailand quite often and the taste is spot on!
Really impressed with this Massaman paste – the flavour is rich and aromatic, with just the right mix of spices. It’s mild, which works well for everyone in the family, and if I want a bit more heat I just add some extra chilli.
Super easy to cook with: one pack, a tin of coconut milk and some chicken or beef, and you’ve got a curry that tastes like it came from a proper Thai restaurant. The potatoes come out soft and soak up all that lovely sauce.
I also like that it’s gluten free and doesn’t have any of the artificial stuff you often find in supermarket pastes. You can really taste the difference – much fresher and more authentic.
Overall, this has quickly become my go-to. Can’t recomend it enough.
Our favourite curry paste, not for mild curry lovers. An explosion of heat and favour always transports us somewhere more exotic.

OMG this was a beautiful flavour, medium heat. I made with pork shoulder that can also take a longer cook. Pork belly is too fatty for me. I added some potato for extra texture (and because I love a potato that’s been cooked in a curry) plus a few green beans towards the end of the cooking time. I’m just about to order another 2 pouches of this plus try the panang. We also tried the jungle curry paste (sadly currently sold out). I will review that one separately. Beautiful balance of flavours for the chiang mai. Highly recommend this to anyone who loves Thai food. Well worth every penny.
